About The Promise:

The Promise is the internationally known musical experience of the life of Christ. Since 1989, the production has brought a

smiling, approachable Jesus to the hearts of millions. As Grandpa strolls with his grandkids, Billy and Lisa, along the Paluxy

River in Glen Rose, Texas, he stumbles upon a campsite where his grandfather used to to tell him stories. When the kids prompt

him to tell the same story, the entire life of Jesus majestically opens around them, filling the 100-feet-long stage of the

beautiful Texas Amphitheatre and sweeping modern audiences into the breath-taking story.

Spanning the time the prophets foretold His coming to His glorious Ascension in the clouds, The Promise has reached millions

around the world through numerous touring productions. But its home is Glen Rose, where a life-changing story, stunning special

effects, historically accurate costumes, and a 100-voice cast come together for a glorious spiritual experience audiences never

forget.
