According to reports, the film will be starring Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, Alexis Knapp, Elizabeth Banks and Anna Kendrick. There is also a rumor that Demi Lovato and Hailee Seinfeld are also part of this project (IMDB).

The film is looking for background extras that are hipster types between the ages of 20 and 30 for filming in the second half of May as well as a few days in July. The film is in production in Louisiana and extras casting is being handled by Caballero casting of Baton Rouge.

“Pitch Perfect 2” is the sequel to the 2012 musical hit “Pitch perfect”. Elizabeth Banks will make her directorial debut with this film and Elizabeth Banks will also reprise her role in this sequel. Anna Kendrick has the starring role as Beca and Rebel Wilson will also be back in the sequel as Fat Amy.

The film is directed and produced by Elizabeth Banks along with Paul Brook who is also producing. The film’s screenplay is written by Kay Cannon.

The original movie, “Pitch Perfect” was also filmed in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. ”Pitch Perfect” starred Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson and Elizabeth Banks. Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson are coming back for the sequel and this time around, Elizabeth Banks is producing and directing the project. The film currently has a scheduled release date of May 15, 2015 – per IMDB
