Richard Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused” Pseudo Sequel “That’s What I’m Talking About” Needs Extras in Austin

Extras casting call in Austin Texas.

The feature film being called “That’s What I’m Talking About” is now filming in the Austin Texas area and is in need of background talent / extras who are college aged, 18 to 26.

The film will be shooting a frat party scene and is ion need of cute party co-eds as well as some frat guy types. The scene will be filming in the Austin, Texas area later this week and talent must be local to the Austin Texas area to be considered for any of the roles. Currently, the scene calls for all “new faces”, talent who have never worked on this project. In addition to the college crowd, the film is also looking to cast extras to play bus drivers. The age range for the bus drivers is 18 to 55.

Paramount Studios is teaming up with Richard Linklater  for a film that is being referred to by many as a sequel to “Dazed and Confused“. The new film still seems to be untitled but is also being called  “Twita” or “That’s What I’m Talking About“. The project has been described on film sites as the “Dazed and Confused” sequel. Linklater is also behind the comedies, “School of Rock” and the “Bad News Bears” remake. The film is about college and those crazy college frat frat guys of course. In “Twita” a new student joins a new school and the very highly rated college baseball team. He quickly comes to find out that his new team mates are complete party animals. Twita” will star Tyler Hoechlin (“Teen Wolf”), Wyatt Russell (“22 Jump Street”), Ryan Guzman, Zoey Deutch, Will Brittain, and Glen Powell (“The Expendables 3?, “Ride Along 2“).

Dazed and Confused Sequel casting call for extras

Extras casting directors for the film are OLC in Austin and they are seeking to fill the following roles:

AUSTIN, TX Casting Notice – Feature Film “Untitled Richard Linklater” project (aka “TWITA”) for work on WEDNESDAY 11/19/14 in Bastrop, TX.

NEW FACES WHO HAVE NOT EVER WORK ON THIS PROJECT ONLY!

MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY (TX Drivers License r ID, TX College ID or TX Voter’s Registration) and a Valid photo ID!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the end times ends up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT! If you have work or class at all scheduled for this date – you are NOT available. Call time could be early in the morning!

CUTE CO-ED PARTY GUESTS: female, all ethnicities, age range 18-25, cute, college sorority types

COLLEGE FRAT GUYS: male, all ethnicities, age range 18-26, frat guy types, should have shaggy hairstyle that covers your ears but is not long hair

CAFETERIA BUSBOY: male, all ethnicities, age range 18-25, should have shaggy hairstyle that covers your ears but is not long hair

CAR DRIVERS: female and male, all ethnicities, age range 18-55, variety of types (but guys should have shaggy hair) that are good drivers and comfortable driving a period vehicle provided by our Transpo
