Shakespeare “Merry Wives of Windsor” auditions in MA

The Striving Artists Theatre Company will be holding auditions for the Shakespeare play “Merry Wives of Windsor” in Beverly Massachusetts.

Auditions will be held Monday and sides are available here.

For our fifth Summer Shakespeare in the Park production, Greg Luzitano has come out of his rather short retirement to direct the really quite silly Merry Wives of Windsor! (This is the one where Falstaff is led on by a couple of married women while the jealous husband tries to catch Falstaff in the act. Guess what ensues? If you said, “Why, hilarity, Greg”, you’re right!!)

Auditions
Monday April 28th from 7-9pm;

Callbacks and additional auditions
Wednesday April 30th 7-9pm.

Location:

Beverly Public Library, 32 Essex St, Beverly, MA.

Performing the weekends of July 12-27th, we’ll bring the show to Beverly, Fall River, and Easton. Rehearsals will begin early May and will be held in Salem, MA. Please prepare a comedic Shakespearean monologue and be prepared for cold readings from the text. If you have any questions, send us a message here for details.

Directed by Greg Luzitano, nonstop laughs are guaranteed or your money back! (I can make that promise since the shows are free, see.)

Poke around our Facebook page, our website, or our YouTube page to be reminded of how much damn fun our summer Shakepeare productions are. And then join us.
