“Shameless” – the twisted and yes, shameless original series from Showtime is filming back in the Chicago area. The show is filming around the Chitown area all next week and the series needs paid extras!
The show will be filming a college scene and an L train scene next week. They need adult extras, 18+ as well as people with clunkers, SUV’s and trucks.
William H. Macy stars as head of a pretty dysfunctional family. Emmy Rossum also stars in the Showtime show. Macy plays Frank, a hard drinking single father who loves the bars and spending money the family doesn’t have. His 6 kids may be more responsible than he is and maybe even better off without him. The family makes no apologies for who they are but they definitely make for an interesting, funny and shameless TV show.
The show is now filming episodes for the show’s fourth season and extras will be needed beginning on Tuesday, the 11th. Casting directors for the show have setup a signup form for those that would like to be cast in the show. You must live in the Chicago area because no travel expenses will be paid.
It looks like our “bigger” days for extras will be on Tues the 11th for a college campus scene and Sat the 15th for an “L” train scene, so those days are probably your best chances to work.
If you are submitting for the show, you will need to first register with the casting company and answer some questions about availability. They are looking for people who have open schedules for next week since call times may come in on short notice and extras will be expected to be on set with very little notice.

The show also is looking to cast extras with cars.
Extras will be paid – If they use you with your car it pays $75/8 + $35 car bump. They prefer older, beat up cars, trucks and SUVS.
