Singers and Musical Theater Artists Needed for Volunteer Performance Project
Location: Montclair, NJ
Type: Singers, dancers, general performers and actors
Make A Smile Happen is a volunteer group of North Jersey is seeking performers to join the show on a volunteer basis.
We travel to children’s hospitals, nursing and veteran’s homes, and orphanages and perform for their residents through concerts, plays, and musicals.
WE ARE SEEKING:
-Singers and musical theater artists.
-Gymnasts & Acrobats
-Dancers
-General Performers
-Artists who love to make others smile and inspire hope
-Individuals with a few days a month to give back to the community.
Dancers
-Dancers OF ALL STYLES: ballet, modern, jazz, theater, contemporary, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, salsa, merengue, ballroom, aerial, Bollywood, Irish Step, bellydance, you name it!
-Dancers with at least intermediate skill level
Actors
-Actors who are skilled in ALL STYLES OF THEATER/
-Musical Theater Artists with skill in singing, dancing, and acting.
Gymnasts
-Gymnastic & acrobatic artists who have an intermediate to advanced skill level in their craft.
-Artist who have a few days they are willing to dedicate towards bringing smiles to children’s faces and sparking hope inside those who need it most!
Must:
-Be creative!
-Love to make others smile!
-Have a few days a month available to dedicate to bringing others joy!
**Meetings and events scheduled around member’s availability.
