Auditions will be held on NOVEMBER 8, 2014 from 9am-6pm at KD STUDIO located on 2600 N Stemmons Fwy #117 Dallas, TX 75207
PLAY SYNOPSIS:
Set in 1967 Murfreesboro Tennessee:
Years of child abuse has left Tony Travis broken, numb and void of emotion. Unable to find release, he turns to music. Though he finds fame, he is a BROKEN award-winning singing sensation full of BITTERNESS.
He blames his mother for his childhood and tells the world she is dead! Meanwhile his mother, Sarah, has spent her life savings following her son across the country hoping for a touch or a simple hug. In her heart all she truly wants is his LOVE and FORGIVENESS. With the support of her lifelong friends, Mothers Baker, Spears and Sadie, who with the sweetness of a Grandmother, MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH, and the wit to rival any of the world’s greatest comedians, she sets out to correct her life’s biggest regret.
