Zack Galifianakis, Owen Wilson & Kristen Wiig Armored Car Film Casting Tough Guys in NC

Paid movie extras wanted in North Carolina

Zack Galifianakis, Owen Wilson & Kristen Wiig will all be starring in a heist film that is currently in production as “The Untitled Armored Car Project“. The film has been shooting mainly in the Asheville area of North Carolina.

Looks like casting directors with Tona Dahlquist are casting a prison scene and are searching for some local extras and background talent that have a rough and tough look. They not only need some tough looking men, but some ladies as well.

The scene will be filming next Friday, the 25th in North Carolina. The film’s CD’s are requesting submissions via email. The movie’s director will then be selecting the talent for the scene from the photos that were submitted. The casting notice also states that the production will be needing many tough looking extras in August for a different scene as well so those who do not get cast in this one, will also be considered for another scene.

The “Untitled Armored Car” film was previously titled “Loomis Fargo”, or at least that’s what Deadline reports. The movie will be a comedy about a very large armored car robbery that happened in 1997 in Charlotte, North Caroline. The Armored truck that was hit was owned by the Loomis Fargo company and ended up being an inside job, the truck’s driver and a supervisor were subsequently blamed for it and the robbers got over 17 million dollars in the heist. The 17.3 million that was stolen was a record breaking amount for that time.
