Emily Hooper Lansana (Storyteller and U of C Arts Facilitator) and Ron OJ Parson (numerous Chicago theater endeavors) are presenting a once a month summer reading series at University of Chicago

The next play will be L. Trey Wilson’s award receiving
SOMETHING HAPPENED on Monday, September 14th.

This is an equity approved reading presentation (stipend for participation and limited rehearsal)
Equity and non equity actors will be considered.

Director/Writer L. Trey Wilson received the LA Ovation Award and The GLAAD Award for SOMETHING HAPPENED. His play, STAGE DIRECTIONS was performed at Chicago Theater Company, Penumbra in Minneapolis and EST LA in Los Angeles. It received the NAACP Award, The LA Drama Critics Circle Award, The LA Weekly Award and The Backstage West Garland Award. He was also featured on NPR’s All Things Considered.
