Paid Theatrical Bookings

Effective Arts, an out-of-state professional theater company, is looking for actors to participate in educational theater for staff training in San Francisco area health-care organizations throughout our 2015 -2016 Season.
This company has offered over 2,000 educational programs in the US and internationally over the last 15 years.
These will be general castings for the 2015 – 2016 season – with the first booking opportunity occurring April, 25th – April, 28th. This booking pays $810. All bookings are paid & all rehearsals are paid the full hourly rate of $30.
If you are not available for the first booking, you should still audition – these auditions are for our ENTIRE 2015 – 2016 Season.
Auditions will be held in San Francisco on Monday, April 13th 2015 from 5:00pm – 8:30pm with callbacks from 8:45pm – 9:30pm. The specific location and other details will be sent out in a formal invitation to the audition, after we review headshots and resumes. Please send your headshot and resume to emily@effectivearts.com. Please be sure to state that you are replying to the San Francisco Casting.
Actors of ALL ages and ethnicities are encouraged to apply since the trainings use actors to simulate real-life, family themed situations.

1. Send your headshot & resume as an attachment or in the body of the email. We don’t go to links – the internet is scary & the casting department likes our laptops and computers virus-free.
2. Let us know if you would like to be considered for the first April Booking, here are the dates & times – you would have to commit to ALL of them to be considered. Otherwise, we’ll audition you for future bookings which vary – dates, times, weekdays/weekends and length – so most talent can usually work some of them into their schedules 🙂
April Booking:
Saturday, April 25th – Rehearsal 10am – 5pm
Sunday, April 26th – Rehearsal 10am – 5pm
Monday, April 27th – Program 4pm – 8pm
Tuesday, April 28th – Program 8am – 5pm (hour paid lunch)
Contract Pays: $810
