Beloved Baby with Playful Parent, Paid Video Test and Spec Photo Project

Thanks in advance for your time. I’m a published kids photographer and I’m seeking parents with babies between 2.5 to 13 months old of any background or combination of backgrounds to work together on a video test/spec photo project. The videos will be used to expand my current portfolio (samjen.com) and the spec photo shoot is for possible magazine submission.
The project will include images of your little one by herself or himself as well as capturing lovely moments between you two. The sessions will take place June through July in midtown Manhattan in a small but air-conditioned studio. The number of people on set will be very minimal — you, your baby, me and maybe an assistant as needed. And comfortable LED lights will be used.
Compensation
In appreciation of your time, collaboration plus signed standard releases, your family will receive:
- 65 dollars for the approximately 1:35 to 1:50 session (might be slightly longer if more breaks are required to keep everyone happy and dry:)
- 6 edited high resolution portraits plus 3 unedited mpeg-4 movies for personal use, sent via WeTransfer in 7 to 10 days
Submission
For the Baby
- 2 clear snapshots taken within the last 2 weeks – one of your baby’s face plus a full body shot. They do not need to be super high res, 10mb total or less is absolutely perfect.
- Age of your little one in months
- Weight, Length/Height, Shoe Size (if wearing shoes)
- Developmental Stage — rolling over, sitting supported or unsupported, crawling, walking, etc.
For the Parent
- A clear snapshot of you with your baby, a close-up snapshot of your hands plus a headshot (professional or non-professional both OK).
- Availability (i.e. weekdays only, any day but Tuesday, weekends only, mornings only, etc.)
- Best number and time to reach you
Prior experience is not necessary but if either your child or you have any go-see experience or have been on set or have some familiarity with auditioning/casting, please mention it in your submission.
