Boston Area Actors for Web Series

Non-union web series is looking to cast 8 actors for the project which will be filming in the Boston, Massachusetts area. The date of the shoot has not yet been set.  See below for role descriptions as well as submission instructions.

A web series about 7 young individuals in their 20’s who enter a competition vying for the opportunity to work for and be mentored by a distinguished figure in the film and television industry. Along the way their personal strengths and flaws push them towards and away from the coveted position.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:

The 7-(should be or appear to be 22-25)

• Lucas Halden – A suave guy who uses his body to get what he wants;
• Gwen Coulter – Type Blair Waldorf; materialistic; party girl who always gets what she wants; entitled
• Prior James – Prideful; sure of himself; arrogant; pretentious to a fault
• Greg Lavin – Sly/sneaky; flashy in his appearance
• Warren Towers – Intense; brooding; Bruce Wayne type
• Sam Desidia – Loner stone; chill; naturally smart; cali-surfer vibe
• Evy Gold – Shy, timid, keeps to herself, unsure of herself, but smart

The Mentor-(should be or appear to be 40-50s)

• Rebecca –  Cool, calm and collected; assertive

This is an un-paid gig. The shoot will include occasional food on set; DVD of all episodes at completion

This will be reiterated in an email once audition times and locations are set, but the audition will consist of a cold reading and a prepared monologue.
