Tube is about a rambunctious young girl, Dot, who lives with her single father on their pickyourown blueberry farm. After happening across the perfect companion for her farm’s scarecrow, she sets out to unite the two; however, when she realizes that a romance is blossoming between her father and the companion scarecrow’s owner, she does her best to thwart it.
Tube is a 1015 minute short film with no dialogue.
The film’s production team has collaborated previously to create the webseries Paper Trail, and have been awarded by the 36th Student Emmys, Tellys, and 2015 New England Regional Emmy Awards for their efforts. Our director Wes Palmer was recently named one of Variety Magazine’s “110 Student Filmmakers to Watch,” and the rest of our team has received various awards for their talents.
SHOOTING SCHEDULE
Our shooting dates are July 25th, 26th; August 1st, 2nd, 7th & 8th.
Actors must be available for all of these shooting dates and a scheduled evening rehearsal in the week leading up to our shoots.

CHARACTERS
- DOT (~610, female): a rambunctious, determined young girl who likes helping her father, Fin, on their blueberry farm. She struggles to accept that her father is dating again.
- KAY (3045, female): a gentle woman who owns the local car wash and is in a relationship with Fin. She loves kids, and is eager to meet Fin’s daughter.
