Casting African American Actors in Los Angeles for “Juicy”

JUICY

Seeking AA men and women for the stage play, “JUICY”. The story centers around Mia, a sweet young female who carries the burden of always being judged by her outer appearance. However, her mother, friends, and others think she should take advantage of the physical gift she was blessed with. She wages an internal battle between herself and her lower half (“Juicy”), which tries to takes over. Who will win – Mia or JUICY?

There will be six shows, scheduled for Sept. 25-27 and Oct. 2nd-4th. One performance will be performed for NAACP members.

Most of the roles have been cast, however, we are seeking to fill the final four roles:

MIA MOORE: Lead, AA female, 20’s-early 30’s. Sweet and sincere. Must have a particular physique for this role: examples – Nicki Minaj, J-Lo, Kim Kardashian, K. Michelle, etc.). (Please note: the role of ‘Juicy’ has already been cast).

DUCKY: AA female, 20’s-early 30’s. Mia’s older sister. Girl next door look, but a bit “looney tunes”. Slim and tall. Long legs preferred. (example: KeKe Palmer type).

SONNY: AA male, 20’s-early 30’s. Handsome Creole. He thinks he’s more ‘street’ than he actually is. (examples: Ginuwine, Terrance Howard type).

CHANCE: AA female, 20’s-early 30’s. Busty, extremely promiscuous and loud. (example: Paula Jai Parker type).
