SEEKING: Local female actors who sing and dance, look over 40, for future replacements at our Harrah’s Vegas engagement.
PREPARATION: Provide headshot/resume stapled together. Prepare brief up-tempo pop song from the 1950’s, 1960’s, or 1970’s. Prepare a brief musical theater ballad to perform if asked to sing a second selection (accompanist provided – please bring sheet music in your key). Prepare a comedic monologue no longer than 2 minutes.
CHARACTERS: The call is for women over 40 and a size 10 or above. They are four women who bond because of menopause symptoms. Their relationship develops like people on a long plane trip that share their life stories, and never see each other again once they have landed.
