Casting Call in Pittsburgh
The Cinemax series “Banshee” has now moved production to Pennsylvania. The shows new season is filming around the Pittsburgh area this spring and summer. Following cuts to the film credits offered to productions in North Carolina, TV productions have been looking for new states to call home. The Cinemax series “Banshee” has found that new home in Pittsburgh. The show recently made the move from NC to PA.
Nancy Mosser Casting has been hired as the show’s new extras casting directors and they have a new casting call out for talent. The show is looking to fill some featured spots in scenes that will be filming at the end of the month and next week. See below for full descriptions of roles and work dates.
“Banshee” is the non-stop action series about a criminal named Lucas Hood. Lucas is an ex-con who comes to the town of Banshee and assumes a new identity. He even becomes the towns new sheriff. Hood uses his position as sheriff to help his other criminal endeavors but manages to piss off lots of people along the way including some not so nice gangsters that are now catching up to him from his past.

-REAL CHEF, CAUCASIAN MALE 30s/40s. Playing a hand double for one of the main actors. Must be able to slice and dice vegetables VERY well. Will be a late call and night shoot. Please have someone video tape your hands cutting vegetables and get various shots of your hands. Before you start cutting, show the camera the front and backs of your hands.
