The Disney Cruise Line will be holding upcoming auditions for male dancers, female dancers and performers for work on board their ship in their production of “Tarzan”.

The Broadway style show runs on board their ships as they travel to exotic, tropical destinations. This week, The Disney company will be holding auditions for both male and female dancers, tumblers and for the role of “Tarzan” in the Los Angeles area. Performers auditioning must be at least 18 years of age with strong dance skills. Dancers must bring their headshots and resume to the audition and be warmed up and prepared to dance. Dancers will be given a ballet routine to perform and some will be asked to perform some advanced jazz techniques. Please see the casting notice below for further details.
They are looking for dancers that excellent stage presence, strong technique with an emphasis on ballet and musical theater styles. Tumbling and tap a plus. Also, they are seeking character / theater performers and dancers who have tumbling skills.

AMDisney Cruise Line® is seeking talented and versatile dancers for entertainment productions on our luxury cruise liners. Nine month contracts begin December 2015 and include competitive pay, room and board, contract completion bonus, additional benefits package and no cruise staff duty.
Seeking the following roles:
MALES
Dancers: 5’8″+, versatile, diverse, exciting, trained in ballet and jazz; tumbling, tap and turns in second a plus
Tarzan: 5’9″-6’0″, strong, athletic physique, toned and defined muscles, broad shoulders, no tattoos, ballet and jazz training required
Tumblers who move well: 5’9″+, strong tumbling and movement ability, no visible tattoos
FEMALES
Dancers: 5’4″+, versatile, diverse, exciting, trained in jazz, turns in second a plus
Requirements:
Performers must be at least 18 years of age

Be warmed up and ready to begin and wear form fitting attire to show your silhouette.
Dancers will be taught a ballet combination. Selected dancers will move on to advanced jazz.
