Casting Company Cast Members – Paid
Location: Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham/Chapel Hill North Carolina.
The Dinner Detective interactive theater show will be hosting auditions for new company members this month in the Charlotte, NC and Raleigh-Durham/Chapel Hill areas. Please see below for the details.
Type: Theater
The dinner Detective is seeking actors 18-65, for hire as company cast members. Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month. Actors with improv experience are a plus. Please note that there are 2 separate casting notices listed below with different dates and submission information.
Chapel Hill area auditions:
Sheraton Chapel Hill – 1 Europa, Chapel Hill, NC 27517 – Front desk for audition room location
Auditioners will be seen one group and must select from the following dates:
Friday, September 25, at 6PM submission code “DD-RDU 9/25 6PM”
Saturday, September 26, at 10AM submission code “DD-RDU 9/26 10AM”
– Do your best to be on time but if you are running late please still do stop in, we’ll still see you, or drop in to the next time slot
– Auditioners should expect to stay for 2 hours but could be released sooner.
Charlotte area auditions:
Sheraton – 3315 Scott Futrell Dr., Charlotte, NC 28208 – Front desk for audition room location
When:

– Auditioners should expect to stay for 2 hours but could be released sooner.
What:
-Interactive, Improv Murder Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes and no serving required.
-Show performs Saturday nights and some weekdays subject to actor availability.
-Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
-No weekly rehearsals required, you rehears only when you are scheduled to work.
-Weekly show location is at the Sheraton Charlotte
-Private shows booked all over Greater Charlotte, travel stipends may be provided, depending on distance needed.
– Roles rotates depending on availability of actors.
Requirement:
-Hard copy of head shot or recent picture.
-Resumes are also needed no matter your level of experience; all levels are welcome to audition.
Pay:
Pay ranges from $40-$100 plus meal and tips, pending role. Roles rotate each show.
