Roles for paid extras in Texas
The comedy, “The Green Ghost” is filming around the Austin area. OLC in Texas has a casting call out for paid movie extras. The casting directors are seeking talent to play businessmen, ages 21 to 70 as well as Hispanic talent ages 20 to 60 to play Mexican immigrants. The immigration scene is seeking Austin locals who are available to work this coming Friday and possibly Monday near the San Marcos River. The scenes will be filming in the Bastrop, TX area as well as Palmetto State Park.
“The Green Ghost” stars Danny Trejo, Dale Dye and Kuno Becker. According to the film’s IMDB page….. In order to help save the world from an Aztec Apocalypse, a gringo from the barrio, raised by an elite group of covert Mexican warriors, has to over-come self doubt transforming into a superhero, The GREEN GHOST. As an orphan, in the care of a careless Stepmother, Charlie longed to belong to someone. And for a while he did, his Nana. Nana raised Charlie, along with her own grandson, Marco, teaching them how to make tortillas and speak Spanish. But cooking wasn’t the only thing Nana was good at. She and Marco had a secret life, a duty to protect powerful Emeralds that upon contact endow superhuman abilities. Chasing after the Emeralds is Lechusa, the fabled bruja (witch), and servant to the Aztec ruler, Montezuma…. Charlie grows up. He goes into business for himself, creating an empire of successful car dealerships but never overcoming a deep sense of self-doubt and fear of abandonment. Can Charlie find the power to overcome how everyone else sees him, transform himself from just a gringo to The Green Ghost?

MUST HAVE PROOF of TEXAS RESIDENCY (TX Drivers License r ID, TX College ID or TX Voter’s Registration) and a Valid photo ID!**
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $58.00 for 8 hours ($7.25/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
We do NOT have call times yet so you MUST have full day (12+ hours) availability and a flexible schedule on this date!
Location is in the BASTROP, TX and Palmetto State Park areas.
EXTRAS
MALE BUSINESSMEN: male, CAUCASIAN, age range 21-70, clean-cut, conservative, professional, MUST have a business suit!! (*please specify when submitting that you do have suits)
MEXICAN IMMIGRANTS: male and female, HISPANIC/LATINO, age range 20s-60s, MUST be good swimmers (just for safety reasons) and comfortable crossing the San Marcos River as if it’s the US/Mexico border. **WILL ALSO be needed for additional scenes possibly to be shot on Monday 2/9/15 but additional date is still TBD – MUST have flexible availability as you will be featured.
