The FOX hit show “Empire” is filming in Chicago and now casting extras.
Casting directors are looking for Caucasian, Asian, Hispanic, Mid Eastern and ethnically ambiguous extras ages 21 to 35, to play upscale club goers and employees of Empire Entertainment. The show is looking for people who can pull off some hot, upscale club looks as well as New York fashinistas and hipsters. The scenes will be filming shortly in the Chicago area and all roles are paid ($80 / 8).
“Empire” stars Terrence Howard as Lucious, the founder and CEO of Empire Entertainment. Lucious receives some bad news. He comes to find out that his days at the helm of his hip hop empire are numbered. He is diagnosed with a terminal illness and must now find his successor. He has 3 sons, none of which are acceptable replacements. One son is gay, another lacks ambition and the third lacks an ear for music. Complicating the situation is Lucious’s ex wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson. She went to prison for Lucious and now she wants her piece of the pie as well.
Please note that the show is only looking for the below mentioned ethnicities at this time because all other ethnicities have already been booked from previous casting notices.
