The New York Renaissance Faire is pleased to announce a unique opportunity for you. This year, we are offering the NYRFAP — New York Renaissance Faire Academy of Performing Arts.
For the first time in our 38 year history, we will be offering workshops and performance
opportunities encompassing :
Period Language
Shakespeare: The Voice of The Ages
Period Music Studies — with a focus on vocals
Character Development
Character Movement
Period Dance
Shakespeare Monologues
Advanced Prop Making
Advanced History of The Elizabethan Period
The NYRFAPA is an extended workshop/performance program comprising 18 days of instruction in preparation for 19 performance days, led by nationally renowned and professionally experienced instructors. All participants will be offered camping space on performance weekends, complimentary passes to performance days for friends and family, costuming and certification at a special ceremony upon completion.
This is an amazing way to expand upon traditional theater skills, develop life long friendships, perform for thousands of patrons each weekend, and have the most memorable summer of your life! We hope you share this with all of your fellow performers!

Auditions are Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2. Callbacks are on Sunday, May 3.
