Comedy Central’s, Key & Peele have a new movie in the works and it is now casting extras and stand-ins in NOLA.
The movie’s extras casting directors, Central Casting, are seeking to fill a variety of small roles for scenes that will be filming next week in the New Orleans area. Some of the types they are seeking include clean cut middle class, police types, swat team, EMT’s, firemen and folks with cars that may be used in the shoot. The project is also casting a few stand-ins that are available to work this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Keanu is described as a buddy comedy in which 2 friends attempt to infiltrate a criminal underground. After their beloved cat gets stolen, the pair must pretend to be drug dealers in order to retrieve their beloved pet which they believe was stolen by local drug dealing criminals. According to Variety, Key and Peele are producing the new project with New Line. Peter Atencio is set to direct Keanu, from a script written by Jordan Peele and Alex Rubens. Alex Rubens is one of the writers for the Comedy Central Key & Peele series.
