ABC has ordered another pilot for the 2015 / 2016 season called “The Catch” and it is now in production in Austin.
Brock Allen Casting is Austin is seeking new submissions from locals who would like to work as extras on the show. This week,. the show is seeking attractive, well groomed men and women between the ages of 21 and 55 to play some rich and powerful business people. All roles are paid, see below for further details.
Shonda Rhimes is behind ‘The Catch” which is described as a crime thriller and follows a female forensic accountant whose specialty is exposing fraud. According to Variety, the fraud investigator is about to get married, and her fiance is not what he appears to be, he is actually a con man and she is his new target but — little does he know, her lies end up colliding with his cons. Also according to Variety, the pilot will be exec produced by Rhimes, Beers, Julie Anne Robinson and Jennifer Schuur, and co-produced by Helen Gregory and Kate Atkinson. Robinson is set to direct, and Schuur will pen the pilot.
