New Extras Casting Calls for “Under The Dome” Filming in NC

CBS “Under The Dome” is back in production of a new season and looking to fill some extras roles.

The show is seeking talent to play prison / convicts, guards, prison visitors, military types, cooks and towns people. The scenes will be filming in the Wilmington area this coming Wednesday, the 18th.

“Under The Dome” stars Mike Vogel as Dale ‘Barbie’ Barbara, Natalie Martinez plays the role of Sheriff Linda Esquivel, Alexander Koch as Junior Rennie, Colin Ford plays Joe McAlister, Mackenzie Lintz as Norrie Calvert-Hill. The show also features Rachelle Lefevre, Britt Robertson, Dean Norris and Nicholas Strong. The show is based on the Stephen King novel of the same name. The show is about a town called Chester Mill whose residents wake up one day to find themselves isolated from the outside world by an invisible, dome shaped force field that is surrounding the town. No body knows what it is, where it came from or more importantly how to bring it down.

CASTING CALL FOR WEDNESDAY MARCH 11TH FOR THE FOLLOWING ROLES

This films WEDNESDAY March 18th in the Wilmington, NC area.
The pay rate is 64/8.. and time and a half after 8 hours.

“PRISON GUARD TYPE” MEN of all Ethnicities, ages 28-45 years old. MUST BE A NEW FACES or Someone who has only been on the show once or twice.

“PRISON CONVICTS TYPE” MEN of all Ethnicities, ages-18-65 years old. Little rough a round the edges looking… and no visible tattoos.

“PRISON VISITORS” MEN OR WOMEN ANY ETHNICITY that could play like they are visiting their kinfolk or friend in prison.
MUST BE A NEW FACES or Someone who has only been on the show once or twice.

“CAFE COOK” Male or Female any ethnicity, ages 23-50 years old. Maybe a little hip looking… like someone who would work at a coffee shop.

“CAFE PATRON” Male or Female any ethnicity, ages 10 and up. Hip, cool, urban, but no visible tattoos or super wild hair… But fun is all good!

“CAFE WAITSTAFF” Male or Female any ethnicity, ages 21-40 years old. Maybe a little hip looking… like someone who would work at a coffee shop.

“TOWNSFOLK” NEW FACES OR PREVIOUS PEOPLE WHO WORKED ON THE SHOW. Any Ethnicity and ages 10 and up.

You will be filling out a form instead of emailing and you will need to upload a head and body shot to the form. I am REQUESTING THAT YOU PLEASE RESAVE YOUR PHOTO THE FOLLOWING WAY… FULL NAME BODY SHOT & FULL NAME HEAD SHOT…
For EXAMPLE If I was applying for work I would go in and rename my photo of my head shot “VANESSA NEIMEYER HEAD SHOT” and my body shot “VANESSA NEIMEYER BODY SHOT” BUT OF COURSE YOU WOULD PUT YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME HERE NOT MINE!

I was asked by our Picture Car Coordinator to send him photos of your STATION WAGON. Any condition and any year.
Also I have nothing to do with the rates so he would be handling all that.
