Thriller-Live is a spectacular concert created by longtime Michael Jackson associate Adrian Grant. The show celebrates the career of the world’s greatest entertainer: Michael Jackson. Lead Male and Female Singers must have excellent pop/rock/soul voices with very high range – exciting, charismatic and energetic solo performers. Must also have good movement skills. Playing 20-40/ Males and Females should be African American or Mixed Heritage; we are also looking for White/ Caucasian male rock/funk singers to perform songs such as Beat It/Dirty Diana. All must be extraordinary singers with terrific passion, power, and range, who have their own unique style which they can use to sing the iconic songs of Michael Jackson, not seeking vocal impersonators but singers with their own personality combined with a deep understanding of Mr. Jackson’s music, vocal range is imperative as all songs are in or near the original keys and the keys are not negotiable.

WHAT TO PREPARE
FOR SINGERS OPEN CALL: Please prepare one of the Michael Jackson songs listed in the character descriptions below. Please choose your song based on the character you believe you are most suited for. An accompanist will be provided as well as lead sheets for the music. Please also bring a current photo and resume.
Currently Seeking Immediate and Future Replacements for the European Touring production:
MAN 1: Excellent soul/funk voice, very high baritone or tenor, sustained top B in chest is minimum requirement. Also needs great personal warmth and charm. Think Marvin Gaye meets James Brown meets James Ingram. Audition material (lead sheets available): Rock With You, Shake Your Body Down, Man In The Mirror.
MAN 2: Excellent soul/funk voice, with exquisite falsetto, tenor, top B in chest and minimum high F in falsetto. Needs very strong movement skills. Think Sam Cooke meets Usher. Audition material (lead sheets available): Off The Wall, Remember The Time (video version), Man In The Mirror/Don’t Stop.
MAN 3: Excellent rock/funk voice with incredible range, high tenor, minimum sustained top C in full voice with high F in rock scream/falsetto. Think Jon Bon Jovi meets Lenny Kravitz. Audition material (lead sheets available): She’s Out Of My Life, Beat It, Dirty Diana.
FEMALE LEAD: Soulful, powerful, and charismatic voice of enormous polish and elegance. Think Patti La Belle meets Christina Aguilera meets Beyoncé. Attractive and Sexy. Audition material (lead sheets available): The Way You Make Me Feel, I Just Can’t Stop Loving You, Who’s Loving You (in F)/Blame It On The Boogie
MALE SWINGS: Must be the best singers of all – need to be able to sing all three male roles listed above. Audition material (lead sheets available): Please select a representative sample from the three male roles, including at least one of Beat It/Dirty Diana.
