Casting Call – Background actors in Chicago, Illinois.
The police drama “Chicago P.D.” is about to film the season finale of the second season and is in need of many Hispanic background extras. The 2nd season finale will include a Hispanic night club scene. For the scene , the show’s CD’s are seeking Latin gangster types, their girlfriends, intimidating security guard types, sexy Hispanic dancers, and many people to play night club patrons. All roles are paid and the scene will be filming in the Chicago area on the 23rd of the month.
The NBC crime drama follows 2 units of the Chicago PD. The 2 units the show focuses on are a group of Chicago beat cops and the major crimes unit. The show is directed by Joe Chappelle and was created by “Law and Order’s“ Dick Wolf. “Chicago PD” stars Matt Olmstead, Jason Beghe, Kelly Blatz and Sophia Bush.
This does film in the Chicago area and casting directors are only seeking talent that is local.

The final episode for the second season of NBC’s Chicago PD will feature our Latinos and Latinas! There are several opportunities for the Hispanic community to work on this episode.
“KINGS AND QUEENS”:
We will be looking for the following types for a Hispanic Night Club scene:
– Latin Kings and their Queens: gangster/thugs and their ladies
– Bouncer/Security Guard types: large, imposing, security guards
– Hispanic/Ethnically Ambiguous Night Club Patrons: sexy, attractive, night club goers/dancers
Pay Rate: $75/8 hours, and time and one half overtime.
*Some of these roles may require a paid wardrobe fitting before the film date.
These scenes are TENTATIVELY scheduled for Thursday, April 23rd.
