David, Diego’s father, is a practical, protective, and struggling single father. He wants nothing more than to help his son and make it to a better life in the U.S. He understands what it means to sacrifice.

A coyote (human smuggler) and a giant in the eyes of little Diego. He leaves David and Diego in the middle of nowhere after claiming that he wasn’t paid in full.

Two adult males. Border patrol agents who are neither good nor bad, but are simply doing their job.
