Extras wanted in Chicago
Starz will be getting a new series, Soderbergh’s “The Girlfriend Experience“. The network has ordered 13 episodes and filming will be taking place in the Chicago area.
The new Starz series is filming this month in Chicago and the show’s extras casting directors at 4 Star are seeking to fill some roles in scenes filming next week. They are seeking to cast paid extras to play pool party guests, hotel staff and folks eating at an upscale restaurant.
The show is being produced by Philip Fleishman and is inspired by Soderbergh’s film “The Girlfriend Experience” about the world of high end escorts who not just offer their clients the usual, but also the companionship of a girlfriend. According to Variety, The 1/2 hour show will focus on a woman working as a “GFE,” as she encounters different clients and experiences.
The show’s 13 episodes will be written by Kerrigan and Amy Seimetz. The pair will also be directing some of the episodes. Soderbergh serves as executive producer along with Philip Fleishman. The new show will join the Starz lineup which includes Da Vinci’s Demons, Black Sails and Outlander.

POOL PARTY GUESTS (likely 6/9) – This is a fancy pool scene, think roof top pool in the gold coast, a private exclusive pool party.
Male and Female, Ages 20-35, all ethnicities, attractive and fit, upscale types.
NOTE: The director would like to see photos of you in your bathing suit. Think upscale and classy!*
HOTEL STAFF – Maids, Busboys, Waitstaff types.
RESTAURANT PATRONS AND STAFF (likely 6/10) – Ages 30-55, all ethnicities, attractive and upscale restaurant go-ers. Classy, high-end patrons.
