“Tomorrow’s Thespians” is a televised actors’ showcase that gives actors an opportunity to showcase their acting skills in front of seasoned industry professionals through the performance of a monologue.
Each episode consists of a panel of 3 – 4 highly trained, knowledgeable, well-connected judges and about four performers. A host guides the show along by introducing the performers, the judges and interacting with them and a live studio audience. Similar to auditions held for commercials or parts in movies and television, performers will slate their name and describe the monologue they will perform. Judges draw from a wealth of personal experiences that allows them to provide feedback on the performances and guide performers to a higher level of performing.
