Casting Call For Live Event for Paid and Unpaid Roles

On September 11th from 1:15PM-4:15PM, there is an Open Casting Call/Auditions Being Held for the event Hunt A Killer, which is a live event taking place on October 1st. This event is like none other. Hunt A Killer is an immersive thriller experience where teams/participants complete mental and physical challenges to help solve the mystery surrounding a serial killer. This event takes place on a 200-acre piece of property in Darlington, MD.
The day itself will be less than 8 hours’ worth of work. The event itself will be 3 hours for participants, but actors/actresses will have to arrive early for make-up/wardrobe/final placement.
-During those 3 hours, everyone who is cast MUST stay in character, as we’re the key element in this spectacle.
-We’re casting 7 major roles for this event and looking for 25 event extras/volunteers (which are the same thing and the roles will be explained during the auditions).
-The 7 major roles will be compensated and will be paid the day of the event. These roles will receive anywhere from $100-$200 for the day, which will be paid in cash when the work day is over.
-The 25 extra/volunteer roles will not be paid, but they’ll receive the following:
1) Snacks/Water/Other Craft Service Items
2) 2 Passes (one for you and a friend) to enjoy the festivities, which include bonfires, music and camping. You’ll have the choice to either stay in your own tent or in a camp cabin and party the night away with others.
3) Free T-Shirt
4) 1 Free Beer
5) If you’re either a major player or an extra/volunteer, you have the option to camp out and stay over the night before the event as well, so that is potentially 2 nights of camping for free for you and a guest.

If you would like to attend the casting call, please email your name and contact information along with a recent photo of yourself so we can determine which part you’ll read for. In your email, please indicate whether or not you want to only try out for a major role, or if you would also have interest to be an extra, providing the major role slots are filled.
This is going to be a fun and unique experience for everyone involved and it’s the first of its kind, which makes it all the more special to be a part of.

-When you email your name and info, please indicate a 15 minute window in which you’ll be arriving and we’ll let you know if that slot has been filled or if we can squeeze you in.
-If you’re showing up later, do not show up after 4:15PM, as there will not be time for you to audition.
