Casting call for Rock Fans in New York City
Amazon Studios streaming series, Mozart in the Jungle, is now filming new episodes of the show in the NYC area and is seeking talent available to work in the Brooklyn, NY area. The show will be filming a Rock concert scene and NYC’s Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking men and women in their 30s and 40s to play rock fans at the concert. The scene will be filming later this week on the 4th.
The show focuses on the classical music scene and all it’s excesses. “Mozart In The Jungle” is based on this memoir called Mozart in the Jungle: Sex, Drugs, and Classical Music. The streaming series is set some time back, during America’s Cold War. According to the series writer, Alex Timbers, “Mozart in the Jungle” offers a behind the scenes look into the world of classical music. While what is happening on the stage at a concert, the action behind the stage may be quite more dramatic and captivating. The first season of the series was well received by critics and viewers alike. Rotten Tomatoes gave the series a ‘fresh’ 95% rating based on 20 critic reviews.
No word yet as to the new seasons actual release date, but if Amazon follows last years schedule, we should expect the show in late 2016.
