Speaking Role – COMMERCIAL PSA SPOT – THE OCEAN IS CALLING
In a world where we can “text” the Ocean, a lifelong sailor runs into a few snags regarding his less than environmentally-friendly relationship with The Ocean. Voiceover carries us through how each action (or lack thereof) can create health issues for our deep blue friend.
Talent Needed (Scripted Role)
CAPTAIN
Male, 30s to 40s, scruffy but handsome. *Sailing experience a plus, must be comfortable on a boat, on the water. Humorous, relaxed demeanor, can laugh at himself, but still be taken seriously.
Non-speaking Roles – COMMERCIAL PSA SPOT – PLASTIC TRASH & OCEAN HEALTH

Client: Sailors for the Sea, Nonprofit Organization focused on ocean health
A SAILOR, a TENNIS PLAYER, and a GOLFER are each seen in their respective sport’s element. Laser-focused and gearing up for that defining putt and serve, everything seems to be slow-motion epic, straight out of a Gatorade or Nike commercial. But then, it is revealed that the entire golf green and tennis court are covered with garbage. In such a ridiculous, unrealistic situation, we comically see our athletes battle and epically fail against the heaping trash. In our final, telling scene, the sailor is cutting through the bay’s waters. In the foreground, a swath of garbage floats by, clogging up the view. Our voice over narration gently pokes at our notion of what might be seen as absurd in one situation, might devastatingly be the truth in another.
