Casting directors for Carnival Cruises are coming to Las Vegas to hold auditions for singers, dancers and triple threats who would like to join their on-board shows.
Las Vegas area talent will get their chance to tryout for a role on September 24th. Auditions will be held at the Backstage Dance Studio which is located on Backstage Blvd. in Vegas. There are 2 sets of auditions planned, a morning open call for dancers followed by an afternoon session for singers. Singers need to also be able to dance and dancers must also be able to sing. Casting directors for Carnival are interested in triple threat performers who are versatile and experienced.
The auditions are for roles in Carnival’s live shows which are performed at sea on one of their cruise ships. Performers must be able to travel and live on board ship for the duration of the contract. Auditions are being conducted by Playlist Productions. Playlist Productions are a dramatic retooling of the Carnival’s legendary revues. Combining captivating live performances with high-tech LED staging and special effects, they set a new standard in seagoing productions. Developed by top talent in the entertainment industry, the shows feature multi-talented ‘triple threat’ performers with a diversity of musical styles.

Keep in mind we are looking for high quality triple-threat performers with contemporary vocal and dance experience. You do not need to apply or register in advance for open call auditions. Singers Who Dance and Dancers Who Sing candidates will have to prepare for both vocal and dance sessions.
Vocal Session
Singers Who Dance candidates need to prepare two song selections (16 bars). Females must belt to a D or E; males must belt to Ab and have a strong falsetto. Choose from the following options:
