Open auditions for “Match Game” season 2, 2017
If you would love to win some cash on a major game show, here is a chance to tryout for The Match Game. Alec Baldwin and the new “Match Game” is coming back for season 2 and folks nationwide have a chance to get on the show.
Match Game originally premiered on NBC in 1962 and since then it has had a few revivals over the decades. “Match Game” featured contestants trying to come up with answers to fill-in-the-blank questions, and match the answers that a panel of celebrities said. In 1973 “Match Game” returned to the air but this time it aired on CBS. The 70s CBS version of “Match Game” proved to be a big success for the network which had tweaked the game a bit from its previous run. CBS’s version of the “Match Game” included a larger celebrity panel, larger cash prizes and added many more comedic aspects to the show. That series had quite a run and ended in the early 80’s. In 1983, “Match Game” came back to NBC and then moved to ABC in 1990. The show returned to ABC this past summer and has now been renewed for season 2.

“Get ready to match the stars as Alec Baldwin hosts the revival of the iconic TV game show . . . Match Game!”
“One of the most popular game shows from the 1970’s, Match Game is comprised of two contestants guessing how a panel of six celebrities will fill-in-the-blank to a series of various (somewhat silly) questions. The player with the most matches at the end of two rounds goes on to play the big money Super Match where they could win up to $25,000!”
