Kina Bale-Reed, casting director at Cast-O-Matic is now casting REAL people (non-actors) in Austin for an upcoming Chevy commercial and print shoot. The casting calls for Austin residents that can really represent the cities creative side. The spot needs creative individuals with very unique looks to match. The age range is 20s to 30s and all ethnicities are welcome to apply. The casting directors are looking for folks who really stand out… musicians, skaters, hipsters, poets, artists and more. Specifically, they would love to audition people with piercings, tattoos, awesome beards and other very unique looks.
Auditions will be held this week on the 24th and by appointment only. The casting team is now scheduling auditions for the 24th and those selected will need to come in for an in person audition between 10:45 and 1:45 PM. The commercial and photo shoot will take place between the 3rd and 8th of June. Those cast for the spot will only need to be at the shoot for one day. If cast, the production will pay $2000 for the 1 day shoot.
Please note that the commercial and print shoot is for those that live in the Austin area only. Please do not apply if you are not an Austin local or are not available on the previously mentioned dates.
