Horror movie “Half To Death” is filming in NOLA and now casting for a few different scenes.
Louisiana based casting directors with Caballero Casting are seeking locals in the New Orleans area who would like to work a day or 2 as paid movie extras.
The masters of horror at Blumhouse Productions have another horror movie in the works, “Half to Death.” The horror film stars Jessica Rothe (“Forever My Girl,” “Fear The Walking Dead,” MTV comedy “Mary + Jane”) as a woman trapped in a cycle of death. The woman in the center of the story must relive the same day over and over again until she can solve the underlying mystery of her own murder and figure out who is trying to kill her and why.
According to Variety, Israel Broussard has a starring role in the film and plays her friend. “Shameless” actress Ruby Modine is also in the cast as are Charles Aitken and Rachel Matthews. Christopher Landon is directing the project as well as writing alongside Scott Lobdell. Jason Blum is producing for Blumhouse Productions with fellow executive producers Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi. Jason Blumhouse is well known for horror stories having produced the “Paranormal Activity” and “The Purge” film series as well as many others.
