Seeking Dancers for Company and Summer Intensive

The Cambrians [Kaym-bree-uns] is a Chicago headquartered dance production and media company. We are currently holding auditions for One full position and Two Apprenticeships with our professional company as well as our 2016 Summer Intensive.
AUDITION INFORMATION:
Full company and summer intensive auditions will be held in Chicago, Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, and Iowa City from February through May 2016
We do not expect to make cuts, preferring rather to treat the audition as training workshops first, ensuring everyone in attendance receives a worthwhile dance experience.

We have at least one full position available for our upcoming project Origami.
Additionally, there are two paid apprenticeships available.
Origami’s time commitment runs from September 2016-November 2017 with potential touring to follow. The Cambrians pays $20/hr and work will range 10-30 hours/week, with substantial fluidity to accommodate artists’ other projects and work schedules. Apprentices will be paid $10/hr.
Although Origami will have times for artists to travel for other work, anyone interested in auditioning must be willing to be primarily based in Chicago for the duration of the project.
