The Wizards of Winter, www.thewizardsofwinter.com (original recording artists on the style of The Trans-Siberian Orchestra) are in need of a Baritone/Tenor vocalist for the 2016 touring season. The group is managed by the legendary Breaking Bands LLC www.breakingbandsllc.com ( the people that discovered and grew Metallica) and booked by TKO www.tko.com ( Anthrax, Buckcherry, Queensryche, Blue Oyster Cult, Motorhead, Fates Warning, Seven Dust etc.). The Wizards perform in theaters throughout the country ranging in size from 1k-2.5k seats.
The tour will be comprised of between 25-30 shows starting in Mid-November through the year end, requiring about 10 days out of town. You can keep your day job and will be home for Christmas. When they begin, rehearsals are on Sunday from noon- 5:00 PM in Hunterdon County NJ. Compensation includes salary plus travel (bus/airline), hotels, and meals. Candidates should sing in a Broadway tenor style (think Phantom) or be similar to vocalists in groups like Styx, Journey, Kansas or TSO.
This is a professional situation and will require you to sign a contract. To be considered for audition, please submit audio samples of your work and a recent photo.
