NJ Sketch/Improv Troupes Wanted

Sketchprov.com is looking for New Jersey based sketch and improv comedy groups/solo acts to join the network of Featured Performers. The goal of Sketchprov is to build a comedy scene in the state of New Jersey so that groups that perform throughout NJ will be exposed to new audiences and collaborate on original material without having to cater to or travel to New York City.
We are looking for what we call “indie groups” which we see as non-UCB or other NYC based comedy theaters, i.e. The PIT or Magnet Theater. If you are accepted as a Featured Performer, here is what you’ll receive and have access to…
– Your own personal page detailing your group’s bio, social media, and reel of live/taped pieces
– Participation in the Sketchprovcast, a half hour once a month released podcast, part of the Core Temp Arts network, recorded in studio at Bloomfield
– Participation in live shows in venues throughout New Jersey
– Exposure to new audiences from other Featured Performers
– A spotlight exclusive interview podcast episode
