At times in our lives we all need to do a show that will touch us to the core and challenge us as artists. We at Pax Amicus are thrilled to be presenting this wildly challenging and deeply felt rock musical.
From the Director, Stan Barber – Darlene and I have been given the rare privilege of bringing this beautiful work of art to life at our Castle Theatre in Budd Lake. But we cannot do it alone – we need your talent, your time, your commitment, and most importantly, your heart.

Auditions: March 8 @ 7PM and March 13 @ 6PM
Performance Dates: May 14 – 28
Casting 4 men and 2 women. Roles include:
- Diana: Delusional, bipolar, and depressed. Age: 40-45. Vocal range top: F#5, bottom: G3
- Gabe: Diana & Dan’s son. Dashing, athletic, and bright. Age: 18-21. Vocal range top: C5, bottom: B2
- Dan: Diana’s husband. He is handsome and genuine. Age: 40-45. Vocal range top: B4, bottom: Ab2
- Natalie: Diana & Dan’s troubled daughter. An accomplished pianist and hardworking student, her struggles are exacerbated by her mother’s behavior. Age: 16. Vocal range top: G5, bottom: G3
- Henry: Natalie’s classmate. The all-around musician, philosopher, and slacker. Age: 17. Vocal range top: B4, bottom: G#2
- Dr. Madden: Diana’s psychiatrist. Quite assured in his practice and considered somewhat of a rock star. Age: 30-40. Vocal range top: A4, bottom: A2
Accompanist will be available. Prepare a song from the musical and be prepared to read from the script. Please note: due to the intense nature of this show, NO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS will be accepted. Rehearsals will take place on weekends, as well as during the week.
