Vesta Williams Singing Competition

Vesta Williams Singing competition is open to all ages. There are two prizes and one grand prize. The prizes are as follows:
Grand Prize: $1,000 Cash
Second Prize: Two vocal coaching sessions with celebrity vocal coach Romeo Johnson.
Third Prize: Eight Hours of free studio time with monster producer Laval Belle.

Official Contest Rules
- Singers must submit a video no more than 2 minutes singing a song of their choice. Singers also have the option to attend open call auditions. November 22, 2016 will be the last day to submit video submission.
- Once video submissions have been submitted, 12 singers will be chosen to compete in the competition that will be held on December 2, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA. Chosen singers will be notified on Wednesday, November 23,2016.
- Chosen 12 singers will compete in one round, singing a song of their choice with a maximum performance time of three minutes. (Singers must provide their own music track)
- Singers will be judged immediately after their performance via ballot which will be tallied at the end of all 12 performances.
- Three singers with highest scores will compete in the final round,
- In the final round, the top three singers will have to choose one of three Vesta Williams songs
- (1. Congratulations, 2. Sweet Love, 3. I’m Coming Back) to sing with a live all-star band. Singers will get one minute and thirty seconds to sing their chosen Vesta Williams song.
- All 12 singers must come prepared to sing one of the pre-selected Vesta songs (in the event they are chosen to progress to the final round).
- After all three finalist have performed, votes will be tallied and the winners will be announced the night of the competition.

Talent (pitch, quality of voice, control)
Stage Presence
Audience Connection
Uniqueness
Professionalism
There will be talent scouts and agents present.
