Casting extras in Pittsburgh to play recurring FBI agents and recruits
The Netflix original series is currently filming in the Pittsburgh PA area and is looking for new talent to work as paid background extras on the show. The show is interested in finding some locals who would be available to work on set as a core group of extras for scenes that are filming next month and the roles may be recurring through December. The show’s casting directors at MHC (Marinella Hume) are looking for men living around the Pittsburgh PA area to play FBI recruits (Ages 20 to 28). The roles are featured and may work quite a few days through the season so talent applying should have a flexible schedule which would allow them to work on set as needed. David Fincher and Charlize Theron are working on a new show together. The man behind Netflix’s political drama “House of Cards” has a new series coming to Netflix. The show called “Mindhunter” will follow FBI special agents as they try to solve some of their toughest cases.
Fincher and Theron will serve as the show’s executive producers. “Mindhunter” will air on Netflix sometime in 2017. The upcoming streaming series is based on the 1996 book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. The book is written by former FBI special agent John Douglas and Mark Olshaker and recounts some of the countries most notorious crimes. For years Douglas went after FBI’s most wanted serial killers and rapists and developed profiles for these notorious killers. According to the show’s IMDB page, the cast includes Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany and Cotter Smith.

You MUST have reliable transportation prior in order to be considered. More often than not, you will be booked almost a few days, if not a week in advance. This should give you plenty of time to arrange a ride.

If you do not fit any of these roles, no worries. We will be sending casting notices out periodically throughout the duration of filming.

SHOOTS: VARIOUS DATES UNTIL DECEMBER
RECURRING FEATURED FBI BSU CORE EXTRAS: Men, ages 20-28, any ethnicity. These are supposed to be FBI recruits/interns.
Must have flexible schedule and open availability as these are featured and recurring roles. If chosen, we will give you a list of tentative dates per episode ahead of time, but you would still need to have flexible availability in the event dates switch around. You must be committed for the duration. Acting experience preferred.
Put “FBI BSU CORE” in subject line. Shoots in Pittsburgh. If you worked as an FBI recruit/student in May and June, you may submit for this.
You must be available for a fitting on Monday, August 1st and be available starting Wednesday, August 3rd. THIS PARTICULAR ROLE PAYS $150/12.

You should expect 12+ hour shoots. Not all days will be this long, but you should always be prepared to be there for the entire duration of the shoot day. Please keep that in mind when accepting a booking. You cannot leave to pick up kids, walk dog, doctor’s appointments, etc.
While we love the enthusiasm of some of you, it is not necessary to submit multiple times a day or mulitple times for a single role.
