Female dancer (no taller than 5’6”)
Classically trained.
Advanced in contemporary movement.
Open to ideas and new movement.
HIGHLY advanced in partnering.
Able to contribute input on choreography.
Available for August 12, 2017 evening performance (ONE SHOW ONLY)
About the Audition:
Auditions will be held at Anonymous Theatre LA on JUNE 12, 2017. Please bring ballet shoes, snacks and water, and layers, and dance paws or socks. To set up an audition time, RSVP to this email address: colton21dancelove@gmail.com with photos providing a clear show of your body, dance photos, résumé, and your name and contact info.
Once your email has been received, you will be contacted by the choreographer in regards to location, time, and more information on what you will need to bring the day of the audition.
PLEASE ARRIVE WARMED UP AND READY TO DANCE. THE CHOREOGRAPHER MAY, OR MAY NOT, CONDUCT A WARM-UP. THIS WILL BE A LONG AUDITION, SO PLEASE KEEP YOUR DAY CLEARED.
About the Project/Performance:
Contemporary ballet duet to be choreographed and performed to original music commissioned for a university presidential inauguration event. One (1) performance will be held on August 12, 2017 at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel in Pomona, CA. Performance time is 6:00-8:00 p.m. (times may vary slightly).
