African Americans the webseries is an intimate portrait of a first generation African growing up in Washington, D.C. From the struggles of pubescent awkwardness to living up to familial expectations and marriage timelines, viewers will follow the main character Kofi through all of his biggest life changes. A new aged “Coming to America,” this series chronicles the African cultural norms that are often in stark contrast to mainstream Black American culture. Watch Kofi battle dating expectations, corporate office culture and even take a look back into his childhood. This scripted web series is set to premiere Spring 2018.
