Cast Call for CMT Show in TN
CMT’s “Still The King” is filming new episodes in Tennessee and there is a casting call out for locals.
“Still The King” was a breakout hit for CMT and it’s spring premiere marked the network’s highest rated original premiere for the network and received over 4.7 million viewers. In a Deadline article, CMT Network exec, Jayson Dinsmore stated “The success of Still The King is a wonderful start for our move into scripted programming,” he also added, “Both charming and irreverent, this series is like nothing else on television and we can’t wait to continue the journey.”
CMT also acquired the music drama “Nashville” and has the original drama series, “Million Dollar Quartet.” All 3 shows film in Tennessee. Still The King stars Billy Ray Cyrus as Elvis impersonator, Vernon Brown, aka “Burnin’ Vernon. Joey Lauren Adams plays an ex 1 night stand and Madison Iseman plays his newely discovered teen daughter.
Things are on the downturn for Burnin’ Vernon, a washed-up country crooner who was a one-hit wonder before scandal led to him being kicked out of the industry. After 20 years out of the spotlight, he re-emerges as one of the best Elvis impersonators in the country, but even his comeback is marred by scandal. After driving drunk and crashing his car into a church outside of Nashville, Tenn., Vernon is sentenced to perform community service. While performing the service, Vernon discovers that he has a 15-year-old daughter from a one-night stand years earlier, but the girl’s mother won’t let him see the teen until he starts paying child support. He pretends to be the church’s new minister to get the money he needs and uses the donations for his own purposes. – CMT

We do not have Call Times yet and you would need to be fully 100% available on the work dates (regardless of what the wrap time ends up being!). MUST be available ALL DAY!! You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for BABY EXTRAS is $200.00 for 4 hours (although babies can only work 2-3 hours but you will still be paid the full 4 hour rate). You will receive a check in the mail usually 14-16 business days AFTER you work. (*WE do not handle pay
roll so checks are issued from the Production payroll company)
Location is in the NASHVILLE, TN area.
