“Hero” – Feature Film Auditions

Skylight Cinema is thrilled to announce auditions for its new faith-based feature film: “HERO”! Shooting will take place 3-4 days in various locations within Utah County, during two weekends of July – exact dates: TBA. Produced by: Jordan Pearson.
SYNOPSIS:
A prideful quarterback, Chris Rockwell, thrives on high school popularity and vanity until one day his grades plummet, threatening to kick him off the team and destroy his college football dreams forever. His only hope is a spiritual History teacher, Mr. Hanks, who promises to raise his grade on condition that he befriend a shy, timid boy, Harold, for the rest of the semester. The problem is, Chris despises Harold and cruelly mistreated him in the past. To make things worse, Chris’s friends and teammates suddenly shun him for befriending the ‘school misfit’. In desperation, Chris turns his life to God as he struggles for the strength to love the young boy he once scorned.
