Art Before Comfort Films is looking to cast “The Huntsman”, a supporting role in the upcoming short film “Strangers By A Fire.”
Summary:
Produced and shot by Art Before Comfort Films, “Strangers By A Fire” is a short drama / thriller set in the time of the American Frontier.
A sharp and contained story that centers around two people: The Huntsman and the Drifter. What begins as a simple conversation between two strangers deep in the forest of the Appalachian Mountains, quickly evolves into something else entirely.
Actor:
Male, larger in build, must look 30 – 50 years old, preferably with the ability to grow a thick beard.
This role is for an actor who takes their art seriously and is willing to commit to a role that requires a significant amount of depth. We are not just looking for someone that can memorize lines, but someone who will develop and make the character their own.
This film will be shot on location in the Appalachian mountains for three nights in late May. Housing and food will be provided during the shoot.
Shoot Dates:
26th – 28th of May
We will respond to and audition actors who send headshots and a resume. A demo reel is preferred, but not required.
We conduct our selves professionally, and we expect the same from those we work with.
