Get cast in “Day 5”
The Rooster Teeth web series “Day 5” is filming season 2 in the Austin Texas area and is now casting extras, featured extras and photo doubles for the show. Beth Sepko Casting & Third Coast Extras is now accepting submissions from Austin locals for various small, non-speaking roles.
“Day 5” season 1 premiered this past summer and season 2 is now filming. The post-apocalyptic series is produced by Rooster Teeth productions and season 1 was written by Matt Hullum, Burnie Burns, and Joel Heyman and directed by Josh Flanagan. According to indiewire, The show airs on FIRST, the premium SVOD platform from Rooster Teeth which boasts over 200,000 subscribers and mentions that the online studio’s show took home the 2016 Streamy award for “Best Action or Sci-Fi.” The Indiewire story also mentioned that Jesse C. Boyd (“The Walking Dead”), Walker Satterwhite, Stephanie Drapeau and Davi Jay will return for season 2 and the show is returning in 2017 with 8 new episodes. Rooster Teeth also produces “Red vs. Blue” and “RWBY.”
According to Rooster Teeth, Day 5 presents a unique vision of the apocalypse that fuses serial drama and thriller around a human story of survival and redemption. “Day 5” is the first live action scripted series for the studio. The imdb description of the show reads as follows… An unexplainable epidemic has swept across the globe affecting every human being. People are frantically searching for answers because if you fall asleep… You die. How long can people stay awake?

Rate: $64/8 hrs, overtime after 8 hours.
Men & Women, any ethnicity, age 18-35. Must look militant, clean-cut, tough. Military/ former Military experience preferred but not necessary. Application not a guarantee of work.
