Seeking participants in the MIST Summer Professional Theatre Camp’s summer intensive performance camp in July for ages 10-17. The camp invites students, by audition only, who earnestly, aspire to professional careers in the arts for a life-changing, masterclass opportunity to train and perform under the tutelage of Broadway-level and professional-musician faculty. The summer professional theatre camp culminates in a full-scale production of “Hairspray” to be performed for a live public audience.
All accepted registered/paid campers will be cast in the show (“Hairspray”). Campers will learn acting technique, audition technique, voice & speech, dance, text analysis, and more. There will also be a field trip.
This is a workshop which requires students to pay.
