The Pretentious Young Ladies

Actors ages 15 and up are invited to audition for our production of Moliere’s comedy, The Pretentious Young Ladies. Also younger kids ages 7 to 17 for The Spook Revue.
Please note that this is an acting workshop and there are fees to participate. See fees below.

GORGIBUS, a good citizen.
THE MARQUIS DE MASCARILLE, valet to La Grange.
THE VISCOUNT JODELET, valet to Du Croisy.
ALMANZOR, footman to the pretentious ladies.
TWO CHAIRMEN.
MUSICIANS.
MADELON, daughter to Gorgibus; a pretentious young lady.
CATHOS, niece to Gorgibus; a pretentious young lady.
MAROTTE, maid to the pretentious young ladies.
LUCILE, a female neighbor.
CÉLIMÈNE, a female neighbor.
At DeAngelis Studios we offer educational theatre programs, as such students of all experience levels are welcome to audition. The cost of these programs includes costume materials, set materials, rehearsal space, a copy of the script that you may keep, and more.
Current Students – $115
Non-Students – $145
Rehearsals will take place each Thursday evening beginning on 10/4 with the exclusion of thanksgiving. Rehearsals will run from 8pm – 9:30 pm, but may run later depending on actor availability.
Performances: 11/29 and 12/1

This is a paid theatre workshop, and the price includes costumes, stage equipment, props, music, as well. This is an educational program, and we welcome students of all experience levels.

Non-Students – $100
Rehearsals will begin 9/15 (Saturday) at 12:30pm
Rehearsals will be each saturday at 12:30pm with performance on 10/27 at 3:30 pm.
